Assistant Scoutmaster
Dear John Richard,
I am writing to convey my deep sense of pride and gratitude for the outstanding contribution of the Scouts in supporting Wreaths Across America today. I would like to recognize these units from the Oakland County area (BSA Troops 366, 123, 60, 40, 255, Crew 4255, Packs 182, 135, 149, 83, 124, 106, and GSA Troops 77199, 75200, 423) These were just some of the units from across the nation from Boy Scouts and Girls Scout that were participating in this program. Their commitment to service, respect, and remembering our fallen heroes through wreath-laying ceremonies exemplifies the highest ideals of scouting.
It is with immense pride that we acknowledge the efforts and dedication displayed by each Scout involved in this noble cause. Your enthusiasm and willingness to give back to the community have not only touched the lives of the families of our nation's veterans but have also inspired others to follow in your footsteps.
The values of honor, duty, and community service that the Scouts embody are a testament to the positive impact that youth can have on society. Your participation in Wreaths Across America reflects the spirit of selflessness and compassion that defines the scouting movement.
As leaders, mentors, and role models, you have demonstrated the importance of actively contributing to the well-being of our communities. Your involvement in Wreaths Across America serves as a beacon of hope and a shining example of the positive change that can be brought about through collective action.
Thank you for upholding the principles of scouting and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Sincerely yours in Scouting,
Dan Welsh and Paul Hardy
