Committee - need more adults involved with running the troop!

As our older scouts age out, that means we start to lose the adults that go with them that help run the troop.

Camping coordinator:  Doug Martin (acting, also Scoutmaster) (thanks Tina for your past work!)
Summer camp coordinator:  Candice Hope (also troop treasurer) (thanks Tina for your past work!)
Webmaster: Steve McGrath (thanks Al for your past work!)
Fundraising coordinator:  open (thanks Jen for your past work!)
High Adventure trip coordination (trip by trip):  Overnight backpacking trip, Philmont, Seabase, etc
and others...

Event Coordinator

Our troop is looking for an event coordinator. 

Please inquire with leadership for roles/responsibilities.  Some that come to mind are our family picnic, organizing ice cream social after Court of Honor & potluck dinner at CoH, 

Committee Members Wanted

The troop is looking for new committee members as we've needed some more attendance for Board of Reviews.  This is a great opportunity to help move our scouts forward in their ranks and get a better understanding of how the troop leadership works.  Attendance to the monthly committee meetings is optional and not required.

4-25 to 4-27-25 Wright Patterson Air Force Museum Campout

Visit to the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum in Dayton, OH

Scouts:  $50
Adults:   $30

Friday departure plans TBD.  Would like to leave as early as possible.  Might have two waves leaving in order to checked into the campsite.

Schedule:
Friday:
  - 1st group leaves the church no later than 5PM (ideally 4PM)
  - Drive to campsite and get setup

Saturday:
  - Cook breakfast / pack bag lunch
  - Visit the Wright Brother memorial and take group picture
  - Visit the museum
  - Eat lunch about 12:30, then resume museum visit
  - Return to camp, make dinner

Sunday:
  - Pack up camp
  - Eat cold breakfast
  - Drive to Oxford
  - Eat lunch on the way (bring money for lunch)
  - Return to the church about 2-3PM

Camping in group site GC2 at Kiser Lake Group Campground.  About 3.5 hours from Oxford.  

Camp is about 40 minutes from the museum -- less driving on Friday.
