11-8-24 6pm Lakeview Veteran's Dinner (setup ONLY)

We will host our annual Veterans recognition dinner on the date noted above.  We respectfully request the support of BSA Troop #366 so assist us in:
- Setting up the Venue (Friday, Nov. 8th from 6pm - 9pm)
- Opening Ceremony and Clean-up (Saturday, Nov. 9th from 4pm - 8pm)
Please canvass the troop for volunteers and let me know of your availability…..Thanks!

11-08 to 9th CAMP OUT - Turkey Feast

Turkey Feast

Friday night:  Sleeping in the youth hall
  - Arrive at 7PM.  Should have already eaten dinner.
  - Board games, watch a movie, crackerbarrel
  - 11PM light out / quiet time!
 
Saturday:
  - 8AM Breakfast
  - Tear down sleeping gear and personals
  - Build turkey oven / get Turkeys cooking
  - 11:30AM:  Start cooking Lunch
  - Noon:  Eat Lunch
  - Start working on side dishes
  - Work on T21 requirements with younger scouts
  - 3PM:  Setup dinner tables, etc in the Youth Hall for Dinner
  - 4:45PM:  Scouts get ready for Veteran Dinner opening ceremony at 5PM.  1st class uniform...
  - 5PM Veteran Dinner opening ceremony
  - Adults finish dinner preparation
  - 5:45PM Scouts dismissed from Veterans opening ceremony
  - 6PM (ish) Dinner in the Youth Building
  - 7PMish Turkeyfeast cleanup
  - Pack everything up - personals and cooking gear
  - 8PM or sooner - Scouts help with Veteran's dinner cleanup
     - Some hang back to help with finishing Turkeyfeast cleanup and packing if needed
  - 9PM All done!  Head home
